On February 11,2009, Mike & Doreen Montepara attended the SCLCA Litter conference in Myrtle Beach. We have learned many new things which we will share with our members at our next meeting. We are also proud to say that Homeland Park Community Task Force was awarded with Community Group of the Year. Additionally, Doreen was awarded the Community Leader of the Year. Both of these awards were accepted with great honor. Normally these awards are specific to the Law Enforcement and Litter Control community, and not citizens groups like the HPCTF. This is such a distinct honor to have been chosen for the efforts done by the HPCTF and it's members.
